Nordic Walking Tour "Over the Ländescharte"

The round leads through a picture book landscape that offers the best relaxation conditions and invites you to let your thoughts wander. The varied terrain is likely to be exactly to the taste of ambitious friends of gentle endurance sports. The approx. 6,5 The kilometer-long tour takes a good hour and a half and your starting and finishing point is the car park at the mini golf course in Bad Faulenbach. This is located at the end of the Alatseestraße.

The Bad Faulenbach belonging to Füssen is a mineral and moor healing bath and Kneipp spa. Here everything is focused on nature enjoyment, recreation and regeneration. The Nordic Walking Tour leads through the Faulenbacher valley, a green oasis with several small lakes, beautiful mountainside forests and species-rich flower meadows. The landscape is created to let the thoughts wander and to recover perfectly while moving in the soothing air. You start from the car park in a southerly direction to the Mitter- and Obersee, which lie next to each other and whose natural baths are popular leisure destinations on warm days. Looking at the Lechfall

After you have left the Mitter- and Obersee behind you, it goes a little further through the forested Faulenbacher valley before you enter the Ländescharte Austrian Boden and walk towards Ländehof. Arriving at the Lechfall, you should make a short detour to the König-Max-Steg, which 1895 created and leads over the waterfall. Worth seeing here is also the bust of King Maximilian II, which is located in a rock niche above the gorge. It was donated by the city of Füssen to honor the king who did so much for the region.

From the Lechfall you follow the Ländeweg a bit further before you get back to the Alatseestraße via the Schwärzerweg and Fischhausweg. After the varied tour over the Ländescharte, it is worth a visit to the mini golf course, which is surrounded by shade-giving trees and to which a cozy beer garden belongs.
