Nordic Walking Tour on the Black and Long Way

The approx. 5,5 Kilometer-long Nordic walking tour on the Black and Ländeweg leads through the magnificent natural landscape above the Lech. The promising round is not very exhausting and offers followers of Nordic walking the best conditions to let your mind wander and forget the stress of everyday life.

The gentle endurance sport Nordic Walking, in which fast walking is supported by the use of two sticks, is now also a popular sport in this country. No wonder, because Nordic walking is one of the healthiest sports ever, can be practiced at almost any age and is a lot of fun. Especially on holiday, it is advisable to turn one or the other round, as you can discover the landscape and promote relaxation. The one presented here is ca. 5,5 Kilometer long tour leads over the Black and Ländeweg through the dream landscape above the wild romantic Lech. The lap manages without major climbs and can be completed in about an hour and a half. Start and finish point is the car park at the mini golf course in Bad Faulenbach. From Füssen, simply drive towards Bad Faulenbach and follow the Alatseestraße until you reach the car park.

The Bad Faulenbach belonging to Füssen is a Kneipp spa town, which is completely dedicated to the enjoyment of nature and relaxation. The Faulenbacher valley here is a real natural jewel, which offers the best conditions to come to rest and shake off the stress of everyday life. You start the tour at the parking lot and first walk along the Alatseestraße in a southern direction until you turn off at the level of the bus stop towards Mitter- and Obersee. Immediately afterwards it goes left again and along the Alatseestraße to the Fischhausweg. This then passes into the Schwarzzerweg, which you follow to the Ländeweg. This leads you a little later on the Füssener Lechfall, which you from König-Max-Steg, which leads over the waterfall, can be viewed up close. The wild water masses plunge over several steps twelve meters into the depth before they flow into the Lechschlicht, which was formed by the meltwater of the Lech Glacier during the last ice age. The Füssener Lechfall is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Germany and is truly an experience. Above the gorge is located in a niche of rocks, by the way, the bust of King Maximilian II, which was donated by the city of Füssen.

Subsequently, it goes on the Ländeweg through the quiet and beautiful landscape above the Lech, which has fascinated the people here in the Allgäu with its beautiful turquoise-green water color for centuries. After a while, you even briefly cross the border with Austria before following the Schwärzerweg towards the starting point. The constantly changing terrain makes the round, which has a wealth of beautiful nature impressions, very varied. At the end of the Schwärzerweg you reach the Fischhausweg again and via the Alatseestraße you return to the car park. After the sporting activity you can start daily on the from Easter to October 13 Open at the clock, some mini-golf games or let the soul dangle in the associated beer garden with food and drink.
