Families

The area around Füssen offers families with children a wide range of activities that are fun for everyone. We have put together a few things for you; even if the weather does not play along.

Our top 5 hits for kids:

1. Forest adventure center (WEZ)
At the border to Austria you will find the "Forrest-Adventure-Center" with two differnt walking trecks. One leads along the waters of the river Lech (1,7km) and one through the natural forrest (1,5km). Both trecks are free of charge and suitable for baby buggies and wheelchairs. Children can climb, explore the nature, water and wind games and also learn something. A good alternative for not-so-good weather. There is no restaurant nearby so please take your own drinks and food. It is really great for the whole family!

2. Playground at Tegelberg mountain
At the base station of the cable car at the mountain Tegelberg in Schwangau (5km) is a big playground for small to teenage children with big trampolines, electric little cars, a kiosk and a summer toboggan run. After visiting the castles this is great fun for everyone!

3. Summer, sun and fun at lake Weissensee
The Lido of the Weissensee (5km) is the perfect place for families to swim and relax. Shallow waters, a nice playground and a large lawn for sunbathing invites you to stay a little longer. At the kiosk you can buy drinks, snacks and ice cream. Just right for warm summer days!

4. Indoor swimming pool area ABC Nesselwang
Especially when it rains the swimming pool and adventure area with the big slide "Crazy Bob" makes small and larger children happy. In the sauna area grown-ups can relax and have a nice time.

5. Allgaulino - indoor playground and kids paradise
In about half an hour you will reach the indoor playground "Allgaulino" in Wertach. In a big hall of 3000m² you will find bouncy castles, giant trampolines, electric cars, a 10m high climbing tower... And with happy children the parents can sit, lay back and watch them.
