3. Once around lake Forggensee:
The most popular bike tour is once around lake Forggensee. There are some ascents, but every meter is worth it! The most beautiful point is after half of the tour with an awesome view to Neuschwanstein castle. Thetour can be shortened by taking a boat of the Forggenseeschifffahrt.

4. historic route of the Furstenstrasse to Tyrol (with or without the mountain Dreiländereck):

Tour: Cycle with your bike to the castles. On the left side of the castle Hohenschwangau starts the historic Furstenstrasse. On the way you can turn right to the view point Dreilandereck. After this side trip the way leads you to the property and restaurant Schluxen. Bike from there over the village Pinswang to the village Vils. At the end of Vils turn right in direction to the lake Alatsee. There is a steep but short ascent. At the restaurant up there the untraveled road goes back and down to Fussen.

5. Mountain restaurant Bleckenau and alpine hut Jagerhutte
Bike tour for real mountain bikers. Technical very demanding when you go down to the lake Plansee after the Jagerhutte. Otherwise there are mostly very steep forest roads.
Distance: 10km to Bleckenau, 15km to Jagerhutte
Tour: Bike to Hohenschwangau. Opposite the Ticketcenter turn left and go up steeply the Wasserleitungsweg to the Jugend, the station up at Neuschwanstein castle.
