Hiking fun on the Lengenwanger Kleeblattwegen

The Lengenwanger Kleeblattwege provide for Füssen holidaymakers the best hiking pleasure within the magnificent Allgäuer Voralpenlandschaft and exciting adventure stations on the roadside. The four themed trails, which are also ideal for families with children, run from the Lengenwanger Bahnhof in clover leaf form and were therefore named as such. In the following, we introduce you to the four charming circuits in more detail.

The municipality of Lengenwang is located only a few minutes by car from Füssen in the middle of the picturesque Allgäuer Voralpenland. The local train station, where parking is available, is the starting point of the four clover leaf paths, which combine hiking fun within the pre-Alpine idylle with special experiences and knowledge about nature, which is conveyed by information boards on the roadside. The between four and eight kilometres long themed trails have an easy claim and are therefore also excellent for families with children. Wonderful nature impressions and exciting holiday impressions are guaranteed during these hikes.

The first ca. 8 Kilometer long circular path with the name Water is life leads from Lengenwanger Bahnhof via Hennenschwang into the picturesque Lobachtal. Passing a bathing area, which invites you to jump into the cool water on warm days, you will cross the so-called Sulzschneidermoor to the Höhenweg, where a breathtaking view of the Allgäu Alps is offered. An information board introduces the various magnificent summits here. On the way back, you pass a doline field and a water treadmill in the Lobach, which provides soothing cooling to tired walking legs before you return to Lengenwang.

In the second theme path, which is approx. 4 km long Round mills, walk from the train station via Ried to the Tannenmühle in Sigratsbold. The small shop belonging to the mill also offers a small selection of homemade foods in addition to flour. Through the magnificent pre-Alpine landscape, which offers ubiquitous views of the magnificent mountains, it goes back to the train station via Bethlehem. You will pass the sewage treatment plant, whose function is explained by a display board, and the Adomat Drechslerei, where you can purchase lovingly made wood products.

The third theme is ca. 4 km long Family roundwhich first leads from the station to Albisried. On the way there you will pass the Allgäuer oil mill, where you can buy self-pressed noble oils. From Albisried it goes over a stream with several play opportunities on the shores to the sports area, where a large playground provides for bright children's eyes. Through Lengenwang you will finally walk back to the train station.

The fourth theme path, which is approx. 8 km long Forest round, leads you first through Lengenwang and then via Extralengenwang to the Witwe-Bolte-Weiher. Interesting here is the fish farm Hollick, which offers fish specialties and can also be visited after registration. Passing various adventure stations such as a listening funnel, which invites you to listen to the sounds of nature, the tour runs over the hamlets of Oven, Öbele, Stechele and Kippach to the Alpe Feneberg. The last section of the hike takes you back to the train station via Albisried.
