In Eisenberg, a detour to the Burgruine Eisenberg is worthwhile, which stands on a foothill of the Tannheim mountains and together with the Burgruine Hohenfreyberg forms a landscape-dominating castle ensemble. The last part of the cycle classic stage leads to the hop lake and the hop district of the same name Füssen by the lake. Owing to its southern flair, hops on the lake are also called “Riviera des Allgäus” and with correspondingly good weather you can bathe wonderfully on beautiful beaches overlooking the mountains.
