“The Allgäuer Wandertrilogy – Wandering at three altitudes” is an over 800 Kilometer long long hiking trail network that runs across the entire Allgäu. The “Wandertrilogy Allgäu – In Triad with Nature” is an over 800 Kilometres of long-distance hiking trails, divided into three interconnected main routes: The 388 km long Wiesengänger route, on which pleasure hikers travel on easy, scenic paths, the 374 km long watercourse route, on which adventure hikers hike along lakes and waterfalls and the 333 km long Himmelssturmer route, which leads sporty ambitious hikers into the Allgäu mountains, where they are waiting for grandiose views and nature impressions. Since the Allgäuer hiking trilogy was designed as a hiking trail network, all routes are connected, so that you can create your own individual hiking tour according to personal preferences and your own condition. In addition to the division into three main routes, the Allgäuer Wandertrilogy consists of nine so-called trilogy rooms, all of which tell the hikers a different regional history about the respective landscape and culture of the area.
