The Wandertrilogy Allgäu is a network of long-distance hiking trails that 876 Kilometers and three altitudes run through the entire Allgäu. Unlike conventional long-distance hiking trails, the hikers are not on a fixed route from A to B, but can be distinguished from three main routes, their connecting paths and 53 Stages put together an individual tour. The traveling trilogy Allgäu is a 876 Kilometer-long long-distance hiking network that leads on three altitudes across the entire Allgäu. It was developed in three main routes, each of which presents a high altitude, their connecting paths and 53 Stages divided. Unlike conventional long-distance hiking trails with a fixed starting and finishing point, the hikers can arrange their tour individually according to their own preferences and condition. Whether enjoyable along the Wiesengänger route, varied at medium altitudes on the Wassergänger route or sporty demanding on the Himmelssturmer route in the middle of the fascinating Allgäu mountain landscape – the Allgäu hiking trilogy has something to offer for everyone. The three main routes of the hiking trilogy lead through various experience spaces that want to introduce the hikers to stories about the nature, geology, culture and people of the respective region. These stories can be experienced through a variety of symbols and places in total 33 Portal, theme and stage locations waiting for the hikers along the three main routes. The 397 Kilometer-long Wiesengänger route was in 21 Stages are divided and lead in the western Allgäu through the hill landscape and in the eastern and lower Allgäu through the terrace landscape. The individual stages are characterized by a length of approx. 15 up to 25 km out and are rather easy to classify as they are mostly flat. The portal, theme and stage locations of course only make up part of the appeal of the Wiesengänger route. Above all, the hikers arrive along this route of the hiking trilogy through wide, green valleys and pass beautiful ponds, lakes and rivers.
