The picturesque Feet In the Allgäu, with over 800 Meters above NN Bavaria's highest city, is a worthwhile holiday destination all year round - but you can also spend your winter holiday there.
Füssen lies in the Allgäuer King angle and offers a beautiful winter landscape with a view of the snowy Alpine panorama. A network of approximately 50 km on cleared winter hiking trails invites you to discover the surrounding area. Walk, for example, from the old town of Füssen with its medieval flair to the world-famous royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.
Skiers also find optimal conditions in Füssen. Well-prepared slopes for beginners or advanced are ready. On the Adlerlift and the Reithlift there is even a floodlight system, so that skiers can also be active at night. A snowmaking system makes winter fun weather independent.
Ski-cross-country fans come in Feet Just as much at their expense. There is an approx. 60 km long trail network alone in Füssen itself, not counting the immediate vicinity. Here too, there are enough cross-country courses for beginners as well as for advanced users. The ADAC recommends Füssen as a top region for cross-country skiers.
Last but not least, of course, the snowboarders were thought of. The winter sports arena Tegelberg and a new boarder park on the Adlerlift leave nothing to be desired for fans of this winter sport. By the way, there is also an ice skating hall, including skating rentals or art skating lessons. Or watch the traditional club EV Füssen at one of his ice hockey games.
A romantic landscape, fairytale castles, plenty of winter sports opportunities and of course the Hotel Sonne**** with warm Allgäuer hospitality, offer optimal conditions for a beautiful Winter holidays in Füssen.
