The starting point and destination of this hike is the car park at the ski lift in the small village of Vils in Tyrol. Who from the north over the A7 comes, takes the first exit after the border tunnel and follows the directions to Vils. In the village, the car park at the ski lift Konradshütte is signposted. From the feet, as well as from the B16 or B17 Coming, follow the route description to A7 Towards Reutte. After the border, take the first exit to get to Vils. Alternatively, you can get from Füssener Bahnhof every hour by Postbus 74 to Vils.

From the car park at the ski lift in Vils, you hike on this mountain tour first on a paved path, past the Konradshütte and the Hundsarschalpe, up to the Hundsarschjoch. From here you can see the Tyrolean Vilstal, the Lech, the castle ruin Falkenstein and numerous picturesque lakes of the Allgäu. This dream view alone is worth this quite exhausting hike.

If you have sufficiently enjoyed the dreamlike view, the descent takes place first on the same route. At the Hundsarschjoch, however, you now follow the signposted, rocky path that leads down to the Vilser Alm. The quaint hut is located at a height of 1226 meters and has a wonderful sun terrace, on which you can first relax from the hardships of the hike. The friendly staff likes to serve you refreshing drinks as well as all kinds of homemade delicacies, such as cakes, apple strudel, soups, hearty breadtimes, kettle and dumplings. If the weather is less good, you just make yourself comfortable in the spacious guest room of the Alm, which has a tiled stove and up to 60 There is room for people.
