The ideal starting point for a hike around this idyllic water is the car park “Rindegger Tanne”. The approximately one and a half hour round trip runs on economic routes and does not provide any special efforts. The only requirement for the hike around the Attlesee is solid footwear. From the starting point of the hike it goes in a northern direction to the district of Attlesee and the water of the same name. The family-friendly hike offers great views, which even reach to the Zugspitze in good visibility conditions. If you want to extend the wonderful hike a little more, follow in between the signage to the Kögelweiher, who enjoys great popularity among anglers, bathers and nature lovers. On its shore is the Alpe Kögelhof, which its guests on the Cozy terrace or in the cozy room spoiled with hearty breadtimes, homemade cakes and Bavarian delicacies. Meanwhile, the children can let off steam on a playground to their heart’s content. After a well-deserved strengthening, the hikers simply follow the signs to Rindegg to return to the starting point. During a detour to the Kögelweiher the tour is approx. 3 km longer.
