How do I get tickets for the king's castles "Neuschwanstein" and "Hohenschwangau"?
We are glad to reserve tickets for you. Please let us know the desired date/time and, if you want to see one or both castles with a tour guide.
IMPORTANT: Reserved tickets must be picked up about 1 hour before tour begin at the ticket center in Hohenschwangau (ca. 4 km distance from Füssen).

Must I buy reserved tickets for the castles?
In the summer months, on holidays and weekends we recommend to reserve tickets in advance.

How can I cancel my hotel reservation?
Have you booked online (e.g. booking.com, hrs.de, hotel.de etc.)? Please cancel your reservation at the same online portal where you made the reservation. (You will need the name of the reservation and the reservation number).
Have you made your reservation through our website www.hotel-sonne.de ? Then you can cancel your reservation right here.
You have made your reservation per email or telephone? The simply send us an email or call us at : 0049 (0) 8362 / 8000
IMPORTANT! Your reservation remains active until you have cancelled with the same online portal, where you made the reservation.

I gave my credit card number during the reservation, will I be billed ahead of time?
We only use the credit card to guarantee the reservation, nothing will be billed before check-out. During the time of check-out you may pay with a different credit card, EC-Cash (Maestro) or best with cash.
A reservation which has not been cancelled, will be billed with 100% of the price for the first night on your credit card. (for further information see our AGB)

Where can I park my car at Hotel Sonne?
At Hotel Sonne Füssen you have two possibilities for parking your car.
1. Parking lot directly in front of the hotel for only 5.00 Euro per night (no reservation possible).
2. Or in our own underground parking garage for only 7.00 Euro per night (here a reservation is possible).
HINT: To guarantee a parking spot we advise you to reserve a place in our underground parking garage, especially during the main season (summer), on weekends and holidays.

Where is the Hotel Sonne in Füssen located?
Our hotel is centrally located at the beginning of the Altstadt (Center) of Füssen. Best way to find us is using your GPS.

Is there a restaurant at Hotel Sonne?
In our restaurant "Maximillian's" we offer regional and mediterranean cuisine as well as seasonal foods. You can eat a la carte or try one of our much liked Menus (Bavarian Menu, Ludwig Menu). We also offer daily changing specialties for our half-board guests.
For special occasions we follow your wishes as far as music, decorations, buffets are concerned - please talk to us!

What do you offer in your spa and what are the opening hours?
High above the roofs of Füssen in the 4th floor of the hotel with a view on the Kaiser Maximillian-Platz is our spa with sauna, rain showers and fitness equipment. As a guest of the hotel this is a free service.
Our spa offers: Steam Sauna, Finnish Sauna, tanning cabin, rain shower, resting. Relax here with a magazine, drink a cup of our different teas, natural spring water.

Saunas daily from 17:00 to 22:00.
Fitness area daily from 7:00 to 24:00.

All rooms in hotel Sonne are non smoking. We recommend that smokers book a room with balcony.
How does one use the internet at Hotel Sonne in Füssen?
We have free WiFi and in some rooms also a fast LAN connection. Ask us for free internet cables at the reception. For all guests who do not carry a laptop or Smartphone, we offer free use of two internet-terminals in the lobby of the hotel.
